'tis the season to make woolly wreaths

I'm not the only one whose been wrapping wreaths in wool, it seems.  Look at these beauties by Debbie Hill!  They're making me rethink my design.  I was so looking forward to using the Quality Street origami, but...ooh, woolly goodness.  I love the crocheted ring and the festive holly.  I'd never thought of crocheting round a polystyrene wreath.  Genius!

  1. I made this last year: http://www.slugsontherefrigerator.com/blog/pattern-christmas-wreath
I love it! It's understated and tasteful and only took me an evening. I highly recommend it!

    1. Ooh, it's pretty. I'll add it to the list! How many wreaths can one household have, I wonder? Graham is determined we will gum-drop wreath again this year.

  2. ah...thanks for featuring my wreaths here! I am pleased they are liked! I really like your colourful one, and am starting to think there could be a case for different seasonal wreaths! I might make one with some spring flowers on it.

    1. That's a great idea. I've been getting my usual January sadness that I had so many Christmas-inspired crafty ideas once again and (as usual) didn't have time to get through half of them before Christmas was over. The trick may well be to adapt Christmas ideas to other seasons and spread the projects out :)

Hello! I'm sorry that I've had to turn on the word verification feature again, but my inbox was being flooded with very dull spam. Genuine comments always brighten my day though, so thank you for taking the time to leave one :)
