time-travelling tuesday (part 13)

Today I went back to school.  To my horror.  We had those tiddly orange seats.  I wrote a letter to Kim.

I am a genius. 13th April 1988
Today Miss Murial Mickey came to visit us.  She is learning to be a teacher.  She is Margaret's cousin.

At Sunday school we got at juice and biscuits.  I fell over.
Made willie warmer for dad.

  1. Oh, this is so cute - I wish I had my diaries from when I was a kid. I have no idea what happened to them:( Now, I really want to watch Splash again.

    1. I would never say no to Splash! My other childhood diaries are not nearly so entertaining as this one. I'm having such a hoot reliving 1988 :)

  2. Love the totally unexpected pieces of information, like "I fell over." :)

Slightly afraid to ask, but too curious not to - what is a willie warmer?

    1. Ha ha! Hilde, I fear it is exactly what you think! It's a bit like a tubular sock, only smaller, and there would have been no point in me giving one to my mum...if that helps! :)

    1. Yes, but I didn't specify whether it was too large or too small. Dad claims too small!

Hello! I'm sorry that I've had to turn on the word verification feature again, but my inbox was being flooded with very dull spam. Genuine comments always brighten my day though, so thank you for taking the time to leave one :)
